Custom Engagement Rings Sydney β Natural & Lab Grown Diamonds
An engagement ring is more than a piece of jewellery β it should feel considered, personal, and true to the person wearing it.
At Carat House, we work with clients across Sydney through private consultations to create engagement rings that reflect individual style and proportion, rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
From classic solitaires to more intricate settings, each piece is made to order using natural or lab-grown diamonds, allowing for flexibility in design, scale, and detail.

Popular Diamond Shapes
Choosing a diamond shape is often the first step in defining the overall look of an engagement ring, as it sets the tone for proportion, setting, and style.
Oval and marquise diamonds remain among the most sought-after, known for their elongated proportions and soft brilliance.
Radiant and cushion cuts offer a more structured balance of brilliance and shape.
Round brilliant diamonds remain a timeless choice, valued for their symmetry and light performance.
Emerald cuts appeal to those drawn to a quieter, more architectural aesthetic.
A considered detail
All Carat House's natural diamonds are GIA certified, while our lab-grown diamonds are IGI certified, providing a clear framework of quality across cut, colour, clarity, and carat.
These specifications form only part of the selection process. More important is how a diamond appears in real life β how it reflects light, how proportions come together, and how the stone performs beyond what is shown on a certificate.

Engagement Ring Styles & Settings
The setting defines how a diamond is held, how it catches the light, and how it sits on the hand β shaping both the look and wear of an engagement ring.
From refined solitaire engagement rings to pavΓ©, three-stone, and more distinctive designs such as bypass or split shank settings, each style offers its own balance of simplicity and detail.
Beyond aesthetics, the setting also influences comfort, durability, and how naturally the ring fits into everyday life β making considered guidance an important part of the process.
A considered detail
The engagement ring setting plays a key role in how a wedding band will sit alongside it. Designs such as low-set baskets, bypass, or split shank settings may require a shaped or custom band to achieve a seamless fit.
